What is A*LIVE Soil?
A*LIVE Soil is a biological fertilizer comprised of a highly concentrated, natural blend of beneficial microbes that promote rapid plant growth and nutrient uptake.
Is it safe for children & pets?
Yes! A*LIVE Soil is a completely natural, chemical-free formula designed specifically to be both eco-friendly and safe for people and wildlife. You do not need to wear gloves, or protective gear of any kind while applying.
What plants respond best to A*LIVE Soil?
A*LIVE Soil can be used on all types of plants varieties. This
includes, but is not limited to:
Trees/fruit trees, lawns, shrubs, and fruit and vegetable
gardens, flowers, and any/all potted outdoor and indoor house plants.
How often should I apply?
Studies have shown that frequent applications of A*LIVE Soil (applications once every 7 days) are most effective. Applying large quantities of A*LIVE Soil in a single application will provide results; however, frequently adding standard doses to the soil is best practice. For lawns, 2-4 applications per growing season will be sufficient.
Can you use too much A*LIVE Soil?
No! Because there is no nitrogen, phosphorous, or potassium in A*LIVE Soil, there is zero risk of overuse, or burn. In fact, using more than the recommended dose or applying more frequently may only benefit your lawn/garden further.
How long does A*LIVE ESoil last?
A*LIVE Soil is best before 90 days.
Under normal circumstances, no refrigeration is necessary, and the bottle should be stored with the cap on at room temperature. Avoid freezing or exceeding 32C.
When is the best time to apply A*LIVE Soil?
Avoid applying A*LIVE Soil when it is very hot and sunny. These conditions may dry the product out before it has a chance to properly soak into the soil. The UV rays can also damage the bacteria. Applying early in the morning or early evening is best practice.
Can I use synthetic fertilizers with A*LIVE Soil?
Depending on your soil conditions, you may need to continue to add
your normal mix of fertilizers, even if at a reduced rate.
Always apply A*LIVE Soil at least one day apart from any fertilizer, pesticide, or herbicide as chemicals may damage/kill the microbes.
Can I stop using synthetic fertilizer altogether?
If your goal is reduce or eliminate use if synthetic fertilizers, we recommend reducing fertilizer use by 1/3 per grow cycle until you find the balance that is most effective.

Will it enhance the flavour of fruits & vegetables?
Yes! Studies have proven that A*LIVE Soil can increase brix levels in fruits and vegetables which in turn makes them sweeter. It also promotes fruits and vegetables to grow bigger and more nutritious, further enhancing the flavour.
Does A*LIVE Soil help during a drought?
A*LIVE Soil has proven to promote deeper root systems and in turn, helps plants to become drought tolerant. Watering regularly with applications is recommended, but in cases where there is minimal access to water; A*LIVE Soil is a great option.
How do I repair dog spots with A*LIVE Soil?
- Scrape away dead grass to reveal underlying soil
- Sprinkle grass seed in the soil and spray grass seed area with A*LIVE Soil
- Apply peat moss or thin soil layer over grass seed to maintain moisture.
